Must have book. July 5, 2010 Janet L. Love I have both of Charla's books and since I have been following her tips I have received a lot of compliments. I feel great too! There are various level of advice you can follow starting from very easy tips. Charla provides product names and pricing which is very helpful. It is easy to figure out what will work the best for you. I highly recommend both of her books.

Wearing bike short type underwear? Gee that sounds like fun in 95 degree weather. This is definitely for the high end consumer, not for an average or low income woman. Prancing around everywhere in high heels, spandex and black pantyhose is just not my idea of living. While I read this in summer, I can definitely see that winter wouldn't be any more practical, thinning down the clothing is not something most people can afford to do in artic like temperatures. She's assuming that everyone has nothing but AC or high heat wherever they go, but in the real world, you do have to be outside occasionally.
One plus of the book is that the pictures show a definite improvement in the look of the models. I've always hated seeing a poor fat unidentified person on the street compared with a tiny little Hollywood starlet, but her pictures are at least of the same person in both pictures and they did indeed make a difference... if you can afford it.
Great book to refer to when you feel chubby! June 26, 2010 P.B. Pegg (Northern California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Charla has great insights and ideas to tweak a wardrobe when the temptation is too high to just be "comfy" and sloppy looking. I was starting to purchase items that were just too big and she inspired me to work a bit harder on the posture and undergarments to give me a better look. I am now purchasing separates that give me more structure and make me feel really put together.
Charla Krupp ROCKS! June 10, 2010 Mom of Sons (Buffalo, NY) I absolutely loved her previous book, "How Not to Look Old," and learned so many new things, and reinforced and reinformed myself on other things I already knew about how to look and feel my best. She continues this in "How to Never Look Fat Again," which is fabulous. She's not only an honest and stylish woman who is willing to reveal her own feelings and problem areas, she is an absolute expert on fashion and style.
The book is beautiful, opens and stays open easily (so many publishers seem to overlook this very important design point of a book) and is a pleasure to hold and read. It is filled with many excellent color photos and divided into helpful chapters according to body part or "body issue" with things to stay away from, and tips to minimize the "issue" and look your most attractive.
I used to love her appearances on the Today show, and these books are even better because you can read and refer to them over and over. It is my turn in September to pick the next book for my book club, I am going to select this, and I think the other ladies will love it.
Recommended: Absolutely every woman who cares about how she looks will appreciate this book.
Well worth the hardcover price!! June 9, 2010 Lee E. Smith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was tempted to wait until the paperback was available but decided after reading "How Not To Look Old" I just didn't want to wait and I'm glad I didn't. The book is filled with tons of very practical advice and I'm sure I'll be refering to it before I go shopping for years to come.
