Wonderful book February 25, 2010 N. Hiser (Redding, CA) I have currently made one of the quilts and yes, it was over one weekend. But one can only complete the quilt top in one weekend. Instructions are good and easy to understand.
Great! June 25, 2009 Mountain Granny (Ruidoso, NM) Thimbleberries is a quilt book I can always count on for wonderful quilt patterns and clear directions. Helpful hints and color pictures make this book a keeper and the quilts are quick to make, maybe more than a weekend for me! But, it is a book for those without lots of time for quilting.
Thimbleberries weekend quilters book December 17, 2008 Hedy Quilter (St. Louis, MO USA) Oh, such a georgous book. I was showing my husband one quilt after another while watching television one night as I was so excited. There are quotes and hints on how to quilt more, wish I could do it more too. The pictures and instructions are simple, which I appreciate as I am still a rather new quilter. This book will satisfy anyone's appetite for quilting books, a wonderful book. I went out and bought new fabric to start saving browns for one quilt that was displayed. You will not be sorry if you buy this book.
Thumbs UP! October 12, 2008 Marilyn Jackson (Southern California, USA!) Very fine collection of wonderful quilting projects. Well worth the investment. Clear easy to follow instructions. Welcome addition to my personal sewing and quilting library.
Great for busy quilters September 6, 2008 Jane Doe (Hartford, CT USA) I used to quilt and was looking to start again. However, working full time left little time to spend quilting. This book was perfect. Not only are the projects rated to finish in a day or weekend but there are also tips from other busy quilters on how to find time in our busy lives to quilt. The Thimbleberries fabrics used are a feast for the eyes, and more importantly, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend this book for anyone new to quilting.
