I was actually using this pump to move grey water from a small tank to a larger one.
It worked for several weeks without a single problem. Great pump!
However I forgot about it one day and left it plugged in for several hours (10 actually) and after it emptied the barrel it finally burned up! I just ordered another one, bet I don't forget again!

As the other reviews had indicated, it has 3 adapters for different tubing sizes and has adjustable water flow rate. This pump replaced the original for a two tier fountain that needed to pump approximately 36+ inches vertically. The fountain uses the smallest tubing adapter and even on the lowest flow setting, it pumped too much water for the upper tier to reserve. I fashioned a restrictor from a smaller piece of tubing and was able to achieve the desire flow rate of water. Overall a good pump, though, it was over the top for my application ... I could have used the next smaller GPH pump for my fountain ... still, a good choice.

I bought a 3-tiered fountain a few months ago - and the pump died recently. This pump is much better and more robust than the one included with the fountain. I especially like the extra long power cord and different outlet fittings to accommodate different size tubing. Not much else to say - this is a great pump at a great price.

I wanted to replace my original resin fountain that broke due to an ice storm with a nice feature. Originally I knew I wanted to push water up about 3 feet and have a single vase fountain - but as I designed my feature I determined I wanted a bit more 'show'. Thats when I found this baby - it met all my needs when it stated it could push water vertically up to 8'. My two vase fountains are about 5' total in height and I have about 3' of connecting tubing so I thought I'd just get a nice minimal spray when I set the pump on full. When I plugged the pump in I was supprized to see the two vase fountains shoot about 2' into the air. I had to reduce the intake to half to get a spray that looked great with the feature.
